BJHS Art Students Win Awards

The BJHS Art Department would like to congratulate Honors Studio student, Dominique Whitney, on her partial scholarship to Interloken School of Arts summer program in Michigan. The summer program is recognized for excellence in over 50 countries and acceptance into the program is an honor. Dominique will be studying drawing, painting, and creative writing.

Congratulations to Honors Studio student, Brain Do, on his winning design for the Stepping Stones “Visualize A Safe Place” design contest. Brian’s designed earned him a DVD recorder/player.

Congratulations to Haven Rayburn and Dominique Whitney on the selection of the Bloomington Library Summer Teen Reading program button designs. Both artists will receive an award.
